Are the cards real?
No. Cardidol currently operates as a sandbox simulation. The UI, workflows and data are production-grade, but card numbers are masked placeholders only. Real card issuing requires integration with a licensed issuing partner.
How do I sign up?
Click "Get started", enter your email and a password, then verify via the link we email you. You will land in your dashboard.
Can I freeze and unfreeze cards?
Yes. From the card detail page, tap Freeze to pause authorizations instantly. Unfreeze the same way.
What is a merchant lock?
A merchant lock restricts a card to a single merchant (or merchant keyword). Authorizations from any other merchant are declined (simulated).
Can I get a one-time card?
Yes. Choose the "One-time" option when creating a card. It declines after its first successful authorization.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes — AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit. Authentication secrets are hashed with industry-standard algorithms.
When will real issuing be available?
Cardidol will connect to a licensed issuing provider. Until that integration is live, the platform is a simulation.
